Green sea turtles can stay under water for up to five hours.

  2. Sea turtles have special lungs that don’t get damaged by the high under water pressure when they dive. Also, sea turtles store lots of oxygen in their blood and muscle. When they move their flippers, they pump that oxygen into their lungs.
