Gamble's quails are shy and elusive. They are most active in the morning and when the sun is setting. Their diet is seeds, cactus flowers and fruit, some plants and rarely, but sometimes bug.
Baby quails are called chicks. Unlike other baby birds,quail chicks can fly in about two to three days after hatching.
